Comenius Schoolproject

Garden of Eden (2004-2007)

Summary of the project:Living in a Garden of Eden is everybody's dream. Creating this utopian and yetreachable place is our ambitious aim. We, teachers and students, will go back to nature, study it by focusing on the water quality of a local river and on a typical plant that indicates the quality of the area. The concrete outcomes are the starting point for reflection on how to interpret the results and to discuss how we can, all together, guarantee a certain quality and create awareness and realize a sustainable way of living. The students will meet and also use modern technologies to discuss, to interpret and to discover each others' way of living, culture, language, cultural heritage. Together, we cover a big part of Europe, which makes us European messengers and spokesmen. We want to involve younger children and politicians in order to create awareness and invite them to work actively with us. We'll accept this challenge and realize it by publishing our actions, by creating a new game (translated in seven languages), by writing a political charter and organizing a live exhibition. With all the actors, we'll restore a garden where it is worth living: a Garden of Eden. Summary of the project:Living in a Garden of Eden is everybody's dream.
